DMCA / Copyright Notice

  • Shark Deals respects intellectual property rights and expects users and third parties to do the same. If you believe material on this Site infringes your copyright, you can submit a DMCA takedown notice. If you believe material was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice.

  • 1) How to Send a DMCA Takedown Notice

  • Please use the form on our Contact Us page and include the following details (all required for processing):

  • Your contact info: full name, organization (if any), mailing address, email, and phone.

  • Work infringed: identify the copyrighted work you claim is infringed (attach or link to an authorized version if possible).

  • Location of the material on our Site: the exact URL(s) where the allegedly infringing material appears.

  • Authorization status: a statement that you have not authorized the use and that you have a good-faith belief the use is not permitted by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.

  • Accuracy & authority: a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.

  • Signature: a physical or electronic signature (you may type your full legal name).

  • We may forward your notice (including contact details) to the user or party who posted the material.

  • 2) Counter-Notice (If Your Content Was Removed)

  • If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, submit a counter-notice via the Contact Us form including:

  • Your contact info: full name, mailing address, email, and phone.

  • What was removed: identify the material that was removed and the URL where it appeared before removal.

  • Good-faith statement: that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.

  • Jurisdiction consent: a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the U.S. federal courts located in your district of residence (or in our principal U.S. jurisdiction if outside the U.S.) and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original DMCA notice or their agent.

  • Signature: physical or electronic signature (type your full legal name).

  • Upon receiving a valid counter-notice, we may restore the material unless the original complainant notifies us that they have filed a court action seeking to restrain the allegedly infringing activity.

  • 3) Repeat Infringers

  • Where appropriate, we may suspend or terminate access for users who are determined to be repeat infringers.

  • 4) Third-Party Links & Content

  • Our Site links to third-party retailers and services. We do not control the content or policies of those external sites. If infringement occurs on a third-party site, please contact that site directly.

  • 5) Misuse of the DMCA

  • Submitting false or bad-faith notices can have legal consequences. Only submit a DMCA request if you own the rights or are authorized to act for the owner.
